First Habitable Earthlike Planet

From National Geographic News

April 24,2007

I have never thought there is any earthlike planet near Earth! This news is really remarkable in the cosmology history. This discovery
gives us a chance to live outside earth and trip extraterrestrial easily. World biggest dream would be real!! But still, would take 20 years to get there if traveling at the speed of light and another 20 to return.

This planet already has name, named Gliese 581. 50 percent larger than earth and contains liquid water because scientists estimated the planet’s surface temperature keeps at between 0 and 40 degrees Celsius.

I think temperature is nice and warm to live but problem is how we get to there. If we went to Gliese 581, take us 40 years. If we can develop faster mashies than light, and find a air we breath, Gliese 581 will be a new life in the future space.
